19 March 2019 5:00 pm at SAUL Studio

Speaker: Sean Griffiths

Sean Griffiths will trace themes that informed his work over the last 25 years. He will discuss the work of his former practice FAT, his practice as a teacher and his current work as an installation artist. The lecture will consider the nature of architectural meaning. It will show how the mediated significations of Post Modernism can make way for a re-engagement with the idea of “truth”.

Sean is Professor of Architecture at the University of Westminster in London. He was an founding member of the art/architecture practice FAT. Since the practice disbanded in 2014, he has practiced as Modern Architect.
