Fab Lab Limerick Launch
Fab Lab
We are launching this week!!
Fab Lab Limerick opens its doors next week and invites you to come to the inaugural launch and discover how to use 3D printing and other digital fabrication technologies in your creative projects.
Adults and children, artists and technologists, students and professionals… everyone is welcome to come to our new premises on 7 Rutland Street this Thursday April 3rd at anytime between 16:30 and 21:00 and take part in three simultaneous activities to get started on 3D printing, laser cutting and 3D scanning.
This event has free admission and no previous reservation is required.
Fab Lab Limerick is a project started in 2012 when staff and students from the School of Architecture, University of Limerick began to build their own 3D printers and laser cutters. Fab Lab Limerick wants to bridge the gap between digital fabrication technologies and makers from all disciplines with the opening of this new space in Limerick city.
This year Fab Lab Limerick cultural programme is kindly supported by Limerick City of Culture 2014. For more information, please contact us on fablab@saul.ie
